These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Kreatos website and AI brochure generation service ("Service") operated by Kreatos ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
Kreatos is an AI-powered tool that generates brochure and pamphlet designs from website URLs. The Service includes brochure generation, a design studio editor, background image library, and print-ready PDF exports.
2. Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account using email and password. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
3. Free and paid plans
Free tier
The free tier includes limited credits for brochure generation. Free tier projects can be viewed and edited in the design studio but cannot be exported as finalized print-ready PDFs.
Paid plans
Paid plans provide additional credits, projects, and finalization (print-ready export) capabilities. Prices are listed on our pricing page. All prices are in USD.
One-time purchases
One-time purchases (such as the Brochure Pack) provide a fixed number of credits and finalizations. These do not expire and are non-recurring.
Subscriptions
Subscription plans (Starter, Pro) are billed monthly. You can cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period — you retain access to paid features until then. Credits included with a subscription reset each billing cycle.
4. Refunds
If you are unsatisfied with a purchase, contact us within 14 days at the email address below. We review refund requests on a case-by-case basis. We do not offer refunds for credits that have already been consumed (brochures generated).
5. Content and intellectual property
Your content
You retain ownership of the content you create using the Service, including your generated brochures, customizations, and exported files. You grant us a limited license to process your content as necessary to provide the Service (e.g., generating brochure layouts from your website content).
Website content you submit
When you submit a website URL, you represent that you have the right to use the content from that website for brochure generation. You are responsible for ensuring you have permission to use any text, images, or other content that appears on the website you submit. We are not responsible for copyright infringement resulting from content you submit.
Our content
The Kreatos brand, logo, website design, AI models, and software are our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the Service.
AI-generated content
Brochure layouts, copy suggestions, and design elements generated by the AI are provided for your use. You may use them commercially (print, distribute, share) without restriction. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated output created for your account.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service to generate content that is illegal, defamatory, or infringes on third-party rights
- Submit URLs of websites you do not own or have permission to use
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, credit systems, or access controls
- Use automated tools to scrape, crawl, or abuse the Service
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written permission
- Upload malicious content, malware, or content intended to disrupt the Service
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
7. Availability and warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or available at all times. We do not guarantee that AI-generated brochures will be suitable for any particular purpose, and we recommend reviewing all generated content before printing.
We are not responsible for printing costs, printing errors, or any damages resulting from the use of brochures generated by the Service.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada, without regard to conflict of law principles.
