What is a sell sheet — and why does every sales team need one?
A sell sheet is a one-page document that does the selling when you're not in the room. After a meeting ends, after the trade show closes, after the email gets forwarded to a decision-maker who wasn't on the call — your sell sheet is the thing that reminds the prospect why they should buy from you.
The best sell sheets aren't brochures. They don't tell your company's origin story. They don't list every product you've ever made. They do one thing: present a single product or service so compellingly that the reader takes the next step. Features translated into benefits. Proof that it works. A reason to act now.
The problem? Most sell sheets are made in Word or PowerPoint by someone on the sales team who isn't a designer. They have inconsistent branding, walls of text, and no visual hierarchy. They look like internal documents that accidentally got sent to a prospect. And that prospect just got a polished sell sheet from your competitor.
Paste your website URL. Kreatos reads your product pages, extracts features, benefits, pricing, and social proof, then generates a sell sheet with persuasive copy written by the Persona Engine. Choose "Dealmaker" for guarantee-led copy, "Optimizer" for ROI-focused copy, or "Educator" for trust-building copy — and the AI writes your sell sheet to that specific persuasion strategy.
The 6 sections every sell sheet needs — in order of importance
| # | Section | Purpose | Common Mistake |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Headline + Hero Image | Stop the reader. State the outcome. | Using company name as headline instead of benefit. |
| 2 | 3–5 Key Benefits | Answer "what's in it for me?" | Listing features instead of benefits. "128GB storage" vs "Never run out of space." |
| 3 | Social Proof | Build trust. Reduce risk. | No testimonials, no logos, no stats. Just claims. |
| 4 | Pricing or Anchor | Frame the investment. | Hiding price entirely. "Starting at $X" beats "Contact for pricing." |
| 5 | Specifications / Details | Satisfy the analytical buyer. | Making this section too prominent. It should support, not lead. |
| 6 | CTA + Contact | Tell them what to do next. | Multiple CTAs. One action. One phone/URL/QR code. |
Kreatos generates all 6 sections automatically from your website content, with copy written through the Persona Engine. Your sell sheet arrives with benefits (not just features), social proof pulled from your testimonials page, and a prominent CTA zone — not a wall of bullet points that reads like a spec sheet.

Create My Free Sell SheetHow to write a sell sheet that gets passed to the decision-maker
1. Lead with the outcome, not the product
"Cut IT costs by 40% in 90 days" beats "Enterprise Cloud Management Platform." The headline should make a promise that's specific enough to be believable and compelling enough to keep reading. Kreatos's Persona Engine writes outcome-focused headlines automatically.
2. Translate every feature into a benefit
For every feature, ask "so what?" until you reach a human outcome. "256-bit encryption" → "so what?" → "Your data is secure" → "so what?" → "Sleep at night knowing a breach won't destroy your business." That last version is what goes on the sell sheet.
3. Include one testimonial with a number
"Great product!" is useless. "We reduced processing time by 65% in the first month — Sarah Chen, VP Operations, Acme Corp" is a sell sheet hero. One specific, quantified testimonial is more persuasive than ten vague ones. Kreatos pulls your best testimonials from your website and places them in the social proof zone.
4. Show the price (or an anchor)
If your competitors hide pricing and you show it, you win the transparency battle. "Starting at $99/month" or "Typically saves $12,000/year" frames the investment. If you truly can't show pricing, at least anchor against the cost of NOT buying: "The average company loses $47,000/year to manual data entry."
5. Design for the 3-second scan
Decision-makers don't read sell sheets top to bottom. They scan: headline → image → benefits → price → CTA. Your layout must work at scanning speed. Bold headlines, bullet points, visual hierarchy, and white space are your allies. A wall of text is your enemy.
